Raku work

This small raku bowl is made to hold rings and other small pieces of jewellery. The firing has given the glaze warm bronze and gold tones, with flashes of turquoise and darker marks across the surface. The simple rounded form keeps it useful while still letting the colour and variation from the firing come through.
